History of Science and Engineering Annotation << Back ALEXANDER SABLUKOV – INGINEER, INVENTOR AND PUBLIC FIGURE L.V. Spiridonova, A.F. Smyk The article describes the invention of the world’s first fan by Russian scientist A.A. Sablukov. The first application and testing of the fan for industrial purposes was carried out at the tannery, then – at the sugar factory. Also for the first time in the world was applied to the centrifugal fan designed by A. A. Sablukov in the mining industry. Along with the creation of fans and pumps, the invention of the hydraulic jet engine A.A. Sablukov successfully worked in the field of improving military equipment. A.A. Sablukov’s inventions found wide application not only in Russia, but also in foreign practice.
