History of Science and Engineering Annotation << Back LABORATORY PLANT IMMUNITY BIOCHEMISTRIES: 30 YEARS OF FUNDAMENTAL WORKS I.V. Maksimov, L.G. Yarullina, R.M. Khayrullin The paper analyzes the path of formation and development of the laboratory of biochemistry of plant immunity of the Institute of Biochemistry and Genetics of the Ufa Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, which has been successfully working for more than 30 years to study the molecular mechanisms of plant resistance to pathogens and to determine ways to create modern environmentally friendly plant protection products. The results of the studies allowed us to identify common and specific ways of forming a protective response of plants to pathogens with different nutrition strategies with the participation of signaling molecules and various protective proteins. Based on the identified patterns, a modern environmentally safe strategy of protective measures using biologics of complex action is formulated.
