THE HISTORY OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF COMBINE HARVESTING IN RUSSIA

The main historical stages of realization of domestic combine harvester construction with parallel consideration of foreign experience of this industry in the countries of North America, Europe and Australia are in detail presented. The sequence of the historical, political and economic events of a world civilization which had an impact on development of the branch of combine harvester construction and need of improvement of process of the mechanized cleaning of grain and bean crops is analysed. The examples of skilled and industrial samples and devices of domestic and foreign combine harvester construction applied to cleaning from the middle of the 19th century in the 20th century (combines "Collective farm" and Stalinets) and till present – from the most primitive on horse draft, to modern self-propelled cars are given. Trends of development of the branch of agricultural mechanical engineering, within rearmament of agricultural producers, for achievement of higher rates of harvesting and a covering of needs of the country by own grain stocks, through the organization of production and release of more modern self-propelled combines on the main of factory platforms of the cities of Rostov-on-Don and Taganrog in the sixties are considered of the 20th century. The wide line of modern products of the main domestic kombaynovy manufacturer – "The Kombaynovy plant "Rostselmash" which part of group of companies a large number of the enterprises located on ten production sites in four countries of the world producing the equipment under the ROSTSELMASH and VERSATILE brands and trends in development of domestic combine harvester construction are is shown.
