History of Science and Engineering Annotation << Back FIFTY YEARS OF RESEARCH IN PLANT RADIOBIOLOGY AT RIRAE S.A. Geras’kin Main results of research in plant radiobiology at RIRAE are presented. Over 50 years of research, RIRAE scientists have made a significant contribution to solving the fundamental problems of radiobiology, genetics and evolution theory, developing the scientific basis of radiation technologies, and developed methods for predicting the possible environmental consequences of a nuclear conflicts and the radiobiological consequences of severe radiation accidents.
