THE DEVELOPMENT OF STRAWBERRY BERRIES HARVESTING MACHINES IN RUSSIA

The history of creating a raspberry harvester in the country differs in that during the study of working bodies for the separation of Mature berries and their capture, promising technical solutions were not identified. This is due to the peculiarities of industrial technology of raspberry cultivation in Russia and the properties of this valuable crop. First, the presence of a mandatory trellis complicates the working conditions of the combine activator. Secondly, the repeated collection of step-by-step ripening berries of standard varieties and the presence of simultaneously fruiting and young shoots in the bushes make special requirements for the interaction of working bodies with plants. Finally, third, the relatively small crushing force of Mature berries of standard varieties complicated the design of the system for capturing separated berries. In the process of creating the combine, more than 20 designs of activators and catchers, three different technologies for industrial cultivation of raspberries for 17 standard and zoned varieties were studied. The long-term work done and the accumulated scientific potential remains a good Foundation for creating a domestic raspberry harvester for working on industrial raspberry plantations of new varieties of repair type, bearing fruit on annual shoots. In Russia in recent years, academician I.V. Kazakov has created a wide range of such high-yielding varieties, which differ from foreign ones by earlier fruiting. Their rapid spread in the areas of industrial berry growing will create new conditions for the activation of work to create a highly efficient domestic raspberry harvester based on the scientific potential already accumulated in this field.
