V.M. Tyutyunnik

All Nobel Prize winners as domestic and foreign corresponding members, full members (academicians), honorary and foreign members of the Russian Academy of Sciences since the late 19th century until now are presented. 19 domestic (out of 23 laureates) and 148 foreign Nobel laureates (out of a total of 923 awards received) were elected as its members in the entire history of the Academy. The dynamics and some features of the election of laureates, the attitude of the academy (at various periods of its activity) to outstanding domestic and foreign fi gures who became Nobel laureates are analyzed. The full list of 39 domestic and foreign Nobel Prize winners who were awarded of Academy’s gold medals and prizes named after prominent Russian scientists is given.
