History of Science and Engineering Annotation << Back HISTORY OF AGRICULTURAL TOOLS DEVELOPMENT WITH THE DEPLOYMENT AND CURTAILMENT OF INNOVATIVE SEARCH DIRECTIONS V.I. Myalenko This paper shows the main historical stages of improving agricultural tools, from the time of "stick" farming to modern energy-saving tools. As a result of systematization and generalization of historical and scientific facts, the evolutionary direction of development of tools as deployment and shutdown of the search for improvements that provide the greatest benefit to man has been established. The current state of agriculture, knowledge of physical and biological processes occurring in the soil, as well as the observed risks of negative consequences of mechanical impact on the soil have formed new directions of agricultural tools development associated with the preservation of soil fertility and reduction of mechanical impacts on the soil.
