Zabrodin Based on the published works of the researchers from the Laboratory of Tectonics at the Kosygin Institute of Tectonics and Geophysics, Far East Branch, Russian Academy of Sciences, the results of geological and tectonic studies are briefly reviewed, which are focused on the type geological features and entities of the southeastern Siberian platform, the Central Asian orogenic belt, and the eastern margin of Asia. A brief account of the main stages in the development of the Laboratory is provided.
