Berdnikov A brief review is provided of the historical development of the Laboratory of Physical and Chemical Research Methods highlighting the goals and objectives of its establishment at the Institute of Tectonics and Geophysics FEB RAS, main thrusts of the research and achievements, as well as financial support of outside organizations on a trial basis and international and educational activities. Scientifi c research at the Khabarovsk Innovative-Analytical Center established on the basis of the Laboratory is also considered.
