History of Science and Engineering Annotation << Back The Legal Culture of Russians or the Lessons of the Pandemic and Infodemia S.R. Chedzhemov The problem raised in the study is related to the pandemic, which made its own adjustments not only to health issues, but also affected the entire socio-psychological structure of mankind. In different countries, this process has its own characteristics related to the general level of legal culture of the population. The purpose of the study is to identify and analyze the impact of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic on the development of infodemia, the development of the legal culture of Russians in the context of existing studies of various aspects of the impact of the pandemic on the socio-political state of society and to determine the prospects for using the Russian experience in the prevention of infectious diseases, both medical and legal – administrative and criminal. We have considered the works close to our problems, published over the past year, the authors of which raise questions of public opinion about the state of the system and the role of the means of rumors, as a social factor in the formation of public opinion in modern society in emergency situations. Some of their conclusions are refuted (the conditions of the pandemic led to a "political lull" in the decline in public protest activity", some develop on the example of the latest regulatory legal acts and news stories (the dependence of young people on Internet information), the formula of G. Allport-L. Postman of the intensity of rumors. The result of the study was the conclusion that rumors are any information that is not supported in official regulatory legal acts, or in published scientific studies, and in the analysis and counteraction of infodemia it is productive to use the so-called Ishikawa diagram, on the basis of which it is possible to determine the main causal relationships of its factors and consequences. The author counts on the creative perception of the main provisions of the article by everyone who is interested in the issues of legal culture and sanitary and hygienic education.
