Kurbatov The article is devoted to the role of the outstanding man Sergei Pavlovich Korolev, who made an invaluable contribution to the formation and further development of the Russian cosmonautics. The article reveals the personal qualities and character traits of S.P. Korolev. It is said that thanks to his dedication, extraordinary talent as a scientist and designer, fervent faith in his ideas, ebullient energy and outstanding organizational abilities, many of the most complex scientific and technical problems that stood in the way of the development of rocket and space technology were solved. The authors come to the conclusion that a huge contribution to the creation and development of the space industry belongs to S.P. Korolev, together with scientists, designers, ministries and departments of the country.
