Antropov The article is devoted to one of the first designers of domestic means of a new kind of military communications - radio relay communications, an outstanding communications organizer, scientist, colonel-engineer Vasily Nikolaevich Sosunov. The main stages of its systemic activity in the development and testing of the first family of domestic line-of-sight radio relay communications. Much attention is paid to the study of the organizational experience of the interaction designer. with defense industry enterprises in the course of serial production of radio relay communications in wartime and the first post-war period, as well as in the conditions of the Cold War. The main methodological approaches of V.N. Sosunov to create a scientific and technical reserve, develop concepts and programs for the creation of promising means and complexes of radio relay communication, as well as new radio communication technologies. The article shows the leading role of V.N. Sosunova in formation a new military scientifi c school of radio relay communications, as well as comprehensive training of scientific personnel at the military communications institute.
