History of Science and Engineering Annotation << Back PROFESSOR’S SCIENTIFIC SCHOOL ALEXEY ALEXANDROVICH TEPLYAKOV (ON THE 120th ANNIVERSARY OF HIS BIRTH) R.A. Melnikov, O.A. Savvina In March 2023, the 120th anniversary of the birth of a prominent Russian mathematician, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, Alexey Alexandrovich Temlyakov (1903-1968), whose name is rarely mentioned in historical and mathematical studies. He was a well-known specialist in various fields of higher mathematics: multidimensional complex analysis, the theory of integral equations, as well as the founder of a well-known scientifi c school, whose representatives have been and continue to explore issues related to integral representations of analytical and holomorphic functions, as well as their properties. The article provides a brief biography of the scientist, reconstructs some facts from his biography, describes the scientific heritage of both the scientist himself and representatives of his scientifi c school, formed at the Department of Mathematical Analysis of the N.K. Krupskaya Moscow State University (now Moscow State University), which was headed by A.A. Temlyakov for many years, and has become a recognized forge of scientific and teaching staff. Keywords: A.A.
