FROM THE HISTORY OF FORMATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE KURSK SCIENTIFIC SCHOOL OF MICROBIOLOGY |

The article is devoted to the Soviet microbiologist and immunologist, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor A.M. Busin, one of the scientists who stood at the origins of the development of the Moscow Microbiological Institute of the People’s Commissariat of Education in the 20s – 30s. and the founder of the scientifi c school of microbiology at the Kursk Medical Institute in the second and third quarters of the 20th century. The paper analyzes the results of scientifi c achievements of A.M. Brusin during the years of work in Moscow under the guidance of his teacher, Professor I.L. Krichevsky. The fundamental role of A.M. Brusin in proving the existence of the Rickenberg phenomenon, in its study and explanation. The article is written in a memoir-research style, with the involvement of a large amount of archival materials.
