Soil Research in Colonization Expeditions Under the Leadership
of K.F. Malyarevsky on the Territory
of Komi Autonomous Region (1926–1929) |

Based on documents from the Scientifi c Archive of the Komi Science Centre of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the National Archive
of the Komi Republic, the article presents the tasks, routes, working conditions, and results of surveys of the vast Pechora Region by the colonization expedition
of K.F. Malyarevsky (1926–1929), with special attention paid to the soil studies.
