History of Science and Engineering Annotation << Back Problems of the History of Science, Education, Cultural Heritage on the Pages of the Journal «Humanitarian Sciences in Siberia» Kupershtokh N.A. The article analyzes the role of the journal “Humanitarian sciences in Siberia” in the development of scientifi c communications of humanists in Russia and neighboring countries. Subjects of the journal publications over the last decade of the 21st century shows that the problems of studying the history of science, education, and cultural heritage in the region are presented on its pages in a wide thematic and chronological range. The authors include both well-known scientists and novice researchers. It has been established that the magazine publishes, along with theoretical and methodological articles, stories that reveal the contribution of specifi c scientists, teachers, and educators to the development of culture, science, and education. It is concluded that the journal contributes to the formation of the current identity of scientifi c youth and the expansion of communication ties of the scientifi c community of the Siberian region. Proposals have been formulated for further thematic fi lling of the journal with materials on current problems of Russian historical science.
