The presented work contains the results of a historical and mathematical study devoted to solving the problem of rotation of a rigid body near a fixed point. This work fills a gap in the history of analytical solutions, presents a generalization and systematization of the main stages and their results. The paper provides a comprehensive and comprehensive study of the solution of the problem of rotation of a rigid body near a fixed point at the following stages: formulation and solution of the classical problem by Leonhard Euler. Using dynamic equations, angular velocities are determined at a given moment in time. Kinematic equations are used to determine the position of a body in space, i.e., Euler angles.
