History of Science and Engineering Annotation << Back The Academic Subject "Differential Geometry" in the Higher Educational Institutions of Russia of the XX Century Ignatushina I.V. The article examines the process of formation of differential geometry as an academic discipline in the Russian higher school of the XX century. The article presents an analysis of the pedagogical experience and progressive traditions of the methodology of teaching differential geometry that have developed in the system of Russian higher mathematical education, in the context of the possibility of their use at the present time at different levels of higher education.
