History of Science and Engineering Annotation << Back Merchant’s Mentality in the District Towns of the Vyatka Province (XIX–the Beginning of XX century) I.V. Maslova The consideration of the Russian merchants’ from the position of the history of mentality shows that the merchants’ enterprise led to aspiration for progress in all spheres of their activities. The wishes of businessmen (their wishes) to affain success in business favoured not only the economic prosperity of Russian in XIX century but also to the development of science and education, to introduction of the new technologies in manufacture.
