Mgaloblishvili It is given a short review of the origin, formation and development of machine building in Georgia. The work deals with machines and mechanical device which were created and used in ancient Georgia in the years of the 19th century. The ways of the formation and development of machine building and metal working are shown in pre-war period (before 1941) and after-war decade (1946–1955).
