Kudryavtsev The system of teaching history of physics in pedagogical higher institutes is considered. The great attention is devoted to a modern state of teaching this discipline. The application of multimedia technologies in teaching history of physics is widely discussed. Some multimedia lectures on history of physics are given as examples. The possibility of application of multimedia technologies in delivering elective courses on the physics and its history for profile school is proposed.
