History of Science and Engineering Annotation << Back History of Electrochemistry in Russia (XIX Century) N.I. Savitkin, Ya.G. Avdeev The main lines of the Electrochemistry in Russia in the 19th century have been analyzed. It has been shown that during this period in our country the continuous work in the fields of theoretical and applied Electrochemistry was conducted and it resulted in, firstly, significant contribution of Russian scientists into the world science and, secondly, creation of the foundation for the further successful development of Electrochemistry in Russia in the 20th century.
