History of Science and Engineering Annotation << Back Integration of Russia in the Global Economy: to Be Or Not to Be? O.A. Shkabardnya This article features the basic problems of Russian Economy, assigned historically and those arisen on a present stage as a result of inefficient neo-liberal policy of the last decade of 20 century, crisis of market as a system, infringements of the world’s reproductive processes and immaturity of postulates of postindustrial society. On the way of reforming, chosen by the government of “New” Russia, it’s necessary to clearly understand the “game rules”, which world community in a global information field will follow. The choice of the partners will probably be the defining factor in the struggle of leaders of 5th technological wave. However, it should be realized, that without an increase of competitiveness of national productive capacities and their scientific base , growth of credit rating, liquidation of capital leakages, stabilization of social sector and strengthening of governmental positions, it is impossible to move forward. Based on the detailed consideration of abovementioned problems, the author offers its own vision of external policy vector and integration processes.
