Ziva The paper analyses the first period of development of fishery fleet of Murman dwellers from IX till XVIII centuries. The evolution of fishing vessels building has been considered; first navigation instruments have been shown. Ways of vessels plating strengthening for fishery in ice conditions have been analyzed.
