Narsky Development of domestic aviation materials technology in the field of studying of aviation wood at the earliest stage is considered: from operative works of the Commission on the logging air wood arranged in 1922 at Central administrative board of a military industry (GYVP) of the High council of a national economy (VSNKh) RSFSR, to an establishment of methods for definition of physical and mechanical properties of wood in Test Department of aviation materials and designs (OIAM) of the Central aerohydrodynamic institute (TsAGI) in 1926.
