Looking back at the turbulent 20th century, one can see that various artistic ideas appeared in a concentrated form, but only abstract art was able to express the spirit of the era, coinciding with the 20th century in political, economic, cultural and other fields. In works, artists strive to present their idea, spirit, feelings and other content, the expression of which occurs with the help of figurative elements of abstraction; the viewer’s task is to penetrate and comprehend this idea. Due to the fact that each of the parties, based on a different understanding of the elements of abstraction, has its own understanding, the visual effects of abstraction allow you to establish a new environment between them, through which a door opens leading to the world of spiritual symbols. The advent of abstract art was an important driving force behind the development of Chinese mural painting in the new era, with masters experimenting with new forms and artistic languages.
