History of Science and Engineering Annotation << Back HR Potential of Krasnoyarsk Research Institute of Agriculture in 1956–1967 Gergilev D.N., Pavlyukevich R.V. The processes of formation of the Krasnoyarsk Research Institute of Agriculture (KRIISKh), as well as the socio-political conditions in which it appeared were studied. The development of its human resources in the fi rst decade of its existence is considered. It is noted that the main purpose of the Institute was to assist in the intensifi cation of the agrarian sector of the national economy and its adaptation to the needs and conditions of the region. The analysis of the personnel potential of KRIISKh showed that its initial composition was insuffi cient to fulfi l the set tasks. In the following decade, new personnel was attracted and the qualifi cations of the Institute's staff were upgraded. During the period under review, the number of scientifi c staff of KRIISKh increased almost threefold, the share of candidates of sciences increased signifi cantly. The conclusion of the study: to meet the status of the leading research institute in the fi eld of research and development of recommendations in the fi eld of agricultural intensifi cation of Krasnoyarsk Krai, the Institute required not only the increase of human resources, but also further strengthening of its entire base.
