Sushkov The history of materials, technologies and SChD constructions development at the «Sapphire» and as a whole in the country is presented. Conception of carrying out Integrated-Targets Program of SChD development and fabrication is substantiated. Successful fulfillments of such programs as «Flight», «Flight-80», «Flight-85» led to creation of the semiconductor subbranch of character displays in the electronic industry of our country.
